Hi, I’m Nicole — a Certified Professional Photographer with a heart for storytelling and a deep love for creating timeless, heartfelt portraits. My photography journey began in childhood, inspired by my father, a well-renowned artist. He bought me my first camera and introduced me to the art of seeing the world through a creative lens. We would spend time together capturing images, and those early adventures sparked a lifelong passion that only grew stronger with time.
Although I spent many years in a different career, that creative pull never left me. Eventually, I made the decision to follow my passion full-time—and I’ve never looked back. Today, I pour that same love and dedication into every portrait session, knowing I’m helping my clients preserve moments that will last for generations.
While I specialize in creating beautiful portraits that clients fall in love with, my love for photography extends beyond people. I’m also drawn to the quiet beauty of nature, the awe of wildlife, and the magic of the night skies.
I’m based in Payson, Arizona, surrounded by the pristine Tonto National Forest and the dramatic views of the Mogollon Rim. It’s the perfect backdrop for both portrait and landscape photography. I also travel throughout Arizona for sessions, and many families choose to come here for their portraits—taking advantage of the area’s stunning scenery and peaceful charm.
You may wonder: Why choose a PPA Certified Professional Photographer? Certification isn’t just a label—it’s a mark of professionalism and excellence. It means I’ve passed comprehensive technical exams and image evaluations, and I stay committed to ongoing education and high standards. When you hire me, you're not just getting someone with a camera—you’re getting an experienced professional who understands lighting, posing, and how to bring out the best in you.
Outside of photography, I’m married to my amazing husband Pat. We share a life full of adventure with our two horses, a dog, and two cats. Together, we love hiking, horseback riding, camping, and exploring the beautiful landscapes that Arizona has to offer.
Photography is more than a career—it’s my joy, my creative outlet, and my way of helping others tell their story. I’d be honored to help you tell yours.
